Grooming for difficult dogs

Many pets who are fantastically sweet at home can still have difficulties with the grooming process. Many groomers do not work with dogs who behave aggressively for the service, so dogs with the behavior can have a hard time finding care. 

My training first approach is perfectly suited for dogs who become fearful when being groomed, and can help dogs minimize or even overcome their fear of grooming. I do not push dogs past their threshold in order to complete a service, as stated in my safety policy. Instead, I focus on establishing trust and expanding what the dog is comfortable with.
