Pricing
Comprehensive grooming starts at $40 base for the visit, plus $75/hour for the time spent with your dog (calculated in increments of 15 minutes.)
The base rate includes travel to your home, equipment setup and cleanup.
Alternatively for A la Carte services that require no equipment setup, the base rate includes up to 20 minutes of service. Individual a la carte services that take no more than 10 minutes are charged at $30.
Time Estimates
Below is a rough estimate for how long services may take for a dog who is comfortable and in maintained condition. Dogs who are not yet comfortable, and dogs who need additional labor such as dematting, heavy undercoat removal, sap removal etc will take longer. Contact us with questions.
10 minutes - Single A la carte service such as nails, eye trim or ear cleaning.
20 minutes - Two to three a la carte services.
30 to 45 minutes - Bath on very small dogs or dogs with very short hair.
45 minutes to 1 hour - Bath and blowout on most small to medium dogs.
1 hour to 1.5 hours - Bath and haircut on small dogs, or bath and blowout on most short densely double coated dogs.
1.5 to 2 hours - Bath and haircut on most dogs, or bath and blowout on most fluffy double coated dogs.
2 to 3 hours - Dogs with large amounts of dematting, undercoat removal, or complex scissor trims.
3+ hours - Extra large fluffy dogs who need heavy undercoat removal, dematting etc.
